High Tech Manufacturers: Shenzhen Guangdong China VS Taiwan VS Korea

Forbes just reported that the average of a Chinese millionaire is 39 years old. This is 15 years younger than the average age of the American Millionaire. Coincidentally, there are literally just under 1,000,000 of them according to the Hurun Report. And the biggest spike in their numbers happened in just the last 10 years -- because of their manufacturing prowess.

Ironically, their geographic neighbor, Korea has PhDs, Engineers, and Technicians who've been educated in the same American Ivy League Schools. Korean Manufacturers have higher precision standards than the Chinese. And Korean manufacturers often have newer manufacturing plants. So is it just a matter of time? The worlds standard for electronics manufacturing started in the USA, moved to Japan, then to Taiwan. Now, China is the IT place -- but for two temporary reasons:

1. Korean Government Backed Conglomerates (read monopolies) that extinguish promising startups.

2. Perception. Nobody thinks of Korea as a major electronics manufacturing powerhouse.

Being American-Korean, if the US brings their manufacturing to Korea, US companies will have a major wildcard negotiating advantage on the bidding table. And Koreans (while Democratic) will be able to experience prosperity the way the Chinese are experiencing it now (while Communist).

Electronics Manufacturing: Seoul, Korea VS China VS Japan VS Taiwan

We all know who the best mechanical manufacturers are in the world. This fact hasn't changed in about a hundred years. It's the Swiss.

But who are the most accurate, precise and cost effecting electronics manufacturers in the world now? Seoul Korea? Taiwan? Japan? China? You'd be surprised that it wasn't Huawei HTC or Sony that Apple asked to Manufacture major components of the first iPhone. It was LG -- after a fierce competition from Samsung.

It seems like in Asia, technological dominance changes hands every 10 years. Who's decade is it now? You tell me and why. I'd love to hear your opinions. Especially in the realm of GPS, Displays, and Battery Manufacturing.
