Homeless Man $50 Cypher: Guerrilla Marketing Strategies Go Viral On One Condition...

Ever notice that when a corporation features their logo on even the most clever viral or guerrilla marketing campaign, it just doesn't go viral? Memes have a way of favoring content that doesn't have a beneficiary. The public wants you to entertain them but they don't want you to profit from their enjoyment.

So the more attention and traffic you want, the more you're going to have to obscure any commercial sources.

Two of the smartest executions of this are:

1. http://whatdowewanttimetravelwhendowewantititsirrelevant.com ...

It's impossible to tell how anyone is benefitting from the publicity this photo got.

2. Homeless Man $50 Cypher

Even in the decryption, there's not commercial attribution (so far)

So then, for marketing purposes, how do you convert all that attention and traffic into sales at your site? That problem, we will deal with in the next blog post

iPhone App Programmers and Android App Programmers Explain How to Build Your Own App

One thing I learned a long time ago, no matter how smart you are, if it's your first try, it's going to be a bumpy road.

This is where experience is worth gold.

If you're trying to build an iphone app or android app and find a programmer to help you, the more experienced that programmer, the more gold he's going to demand. So you might think about taking your project offshore to India or South America. Trouble with these sources of developers is that culturally, if your definition of QoS and deadline differs from theirs, no matter how much experience they have, you're in for some pain.

This is what you need to know to have the smoothest journey in building your first or first couple apps: How to Hire Android and iPhone App Programmers.

PS... If you must hire overseas, here's why you might want to consider programmers from Seoul, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

Guerrilla Marketing Facebook: Secret Strategies for Building Your Like or Fan Base

Media_http1bpblogspot_uvbiz

Sure. Zuckerberg has Facebook nail down tight. When you advertise, you can't even use a logo. You can't friend more than 12 people a day. You can't post more than a set number of messages on friends walls (based on an algorithm that's based on how long you've used Facebook and your friend count). So how is it possible to do any kind of Guerrilla Marketing on Facebook

It's the same way those guys with rediculous facebook page names like "people with rosy cheeks" got over a million likes. If you thought the above linked video was helpful, give us a RT or a share on Facebook too!

Top Social Media Agency REVEALS: Twitter & Facebook Strategy: How Your Competitor Got 10,000 Followers in

Media_httpwwwerinsmag_izesm

In the good old days, the person with the biggest rollodex had the most business. Then it moved to email database size. Almost as soon as it did, email marketing became almost absolutely unproductive. Now, it's the size of your Facebook and Twitter reach as well as Google+ that determines how how much traffic your website gets. Then, based on how demographically targetted your follower base is, your conversion rate will either make your business prosper or ummm, not.

This is how that competitor of yours with over 10,000 facebook and twitter subscribers built his follower base: via Top Social Media Agencies.

You'll understand the relevance of the muffin image after you watch the video. =)

Event Catering and Banquet Halls in Seoul Hong Kong Tokyo Ain't English Speaking

Media_httpjanetnewenh_umeaf

Corporate Tip:

If you're thinking that English is the universal language. You'd be wrong if you're planning a conference, convention, or corporate event in Seoul, Hong Kong, or Tokyo.

Seriously. For as world-class and bleeding edge as these cities are in education and culture, this isn't like holding an event in Amsterdam or Norway where every Hollywood movie comes in authentic English. They still dub here. What this means to you is that if you want Tabasco sauce, ya ain't gunna get it unless you pronounce it, "DabahSuh-Koh SohSuh."

Or, just work with an English Speaking Event Catering Company and Banquet Hall in Seoul Hong Kong and Tokyo

Brilliant Retail Displays: Korean Subway Sign

If you can't read Korean, which I'm betting you can't ... This is a brilliant execution of getting passerby to see your company name. It pulls from preexisting user behavior. Koreans are trained to look for metro signs like no other culture. By leveraging a preexisting visual trigger, this retail display does what viral videos (people love cute kittens and nostalgia like the back to the future flux capacitor date meme that's going around now) do in social media - it elicits a response.
